The selection procedure of MICAT 2020 will start in first week of March 2020 . The qualified candidates in the entrance exam will be shortlisted for MICAT selection procedure. They will have to take part in group exercise and personal interview. The personal interview and group exercise will be conducted from first week to third week of March 2020 in different cities. The final result of MICAT 2020 Exam will be announced in the fourth week of March 2020.
MICAT 2020 Selection Criteria
MICAT selection procedure has several rounds consisting of different weightage. To be eligible for MICAT 2020 selection procedure, candidates have to clear the entrance exam.
MICAT selection criteria consists of three steps, which have certain weightage
Step 1 - CAT/ XAT/ GMAT
Candidates should have appeared in any one of the entrance exam given below and have a valid score
Candidates have to appear in MICAT 2020 entrance exam, which consists of three sections:
Section A: Psychometric Test (It is mandatory for candidates to clear this section)
Section B: (has 4 sub-sections) - Verbal ability, Quantitative ability and Data Interpretation, General awareness; Divergent and Convergent Thinking
Section C: Descriptive Test.
Step 3 - GD & PI
The qualified candidates will have to face the personal interview and group exercise. Candidates who will appear in the selection procedure of MICAT 2020, they should score at least 3.5 or more in the group exercise while at least 4 or more in the personal interview. The weightage that is accorded to different rounds of MICAT selection procedure is mentioned below in the table:
Candidates will get to know if they have qualified to participate in the next round of MICAT selection procedure post announcement of MICAT 2020 result. They should note that those who will not meet the cutoff, they will not be shortlisted for the next round. MICAT I 2020 result will be announced in third week of December, while result for MICAT II 2020 will be declared in third week of February 2020
