How to prepare for CS professional within 1 month?

A student who enters the course of Company Secretaryship through CS Foundation has to pass 4 exams in Foundation and 8 exams (2 modules) in Executive level, in order to reach the CS Professional. A student directly entered into CS Executive level has to pass both the modules having 8 papers in total. Talking about CS Professional, the course includes 3 modules with 3 papers in each module. As the CS Professional exams for December term are round the corner and the CS Professional admit cards will be released soon in December. Thus, for those who have not drowned into preparation yet, it's high time they get upon the roller coaster and become sincere with their studies. Here is the 30 day preparatory plan for students of CS Professional who are appearing in this December term of exams.

Candidates need to indulge into practices as provided below:

  1. Candidates appearing for all the modules have 9 papers to prepare for, so understand the fact that you don’t have much time.
  2. Pick important topics which have been asked earlier and frame answers (as personal notes) to those questions.
  3. Try to remember important provisions (Sections, rules, etc) because cramming all of them is not possible, at least at this stage.
  4. Allocate enough hours for study wherein, you make sure that you pass some of the papers rather than failing in all of them while preparing for all.
  5. For Open Book exam- open book doesn’t mean that it will be easy because knowing the whereabouts of a provision is also a big deal. Hence, just go through previous CS Professional question papers so that you are aware of questions asked before and know if you are able to find them in the books or not.
  6. Try to practise writing the solutions speedily. This will enhance your writing speed because one has to become an unstoppable writer during CS Professional exams and will result in personal exam notes as well.
  7. Practise drafting as much as possible because the facts provided in the question paper can not be predicted and thus, you can not cram things. So better go for practice so you know what things are to be mentioned in the draft.
  8. Try to contribute at least 10 hours a day towards studies wherein frequent breaks are also included so that stress doesn’t take over the health, otherwise complete effort will go in vain.

Hence, in such less time to go for exams, candidates need to mend their ways and try the hardest to crack through CS Professional exams. If a person religiously follows the above mentioned study mantra, it won’t be tough to target the bull’s eye.
